IWI US's ARAD 5 is a short-stroke piston AR-pattern rifle with a semi-monolithic upper and IWI's quick-change CamLok barrel, now built in Tennessee.
Why it matters
It keeps the M4 manual of arms and lower parts while adding a two-position piston (normal and suppressed) and a barrel you can swap without an armorer's bench.
