Cole Harlan, Editor

Editor, GunReleases.com · [email protected]

Cole Harlan is the pen name of the GunReleases.com editor. He edits every buyer's guide and comparison on the site and oversees The Release Desk, which tracks each new gun, optic and piece of gear from announcement to shipping.

What he does

He tracks releases against the makers' own spec sheets and press releases and against retailer listings, and he cites every fact. If a maker hasn't published a number, it stays blank. He reviews the status changes our daily stock check makes, and every correction is logged publicly.

Why a pen name

GunReleases is about the data, not a personality. "Cole Harlan" is a pen name, and we say so plainly. We don't claim credentials, service history, awards or years of experience for him, and there's no stock photo. Judge the work by its sources: every product page links to them and shows the date of its last check.
