New American-Made Guns and Gear of 2026

Buying American keeps money in American factories, keeps American workers employed and keeps the industry that arms free citizens on American soil. This page lists every new 2026 release we track that the maker, or a source we cite, says is made in the USA. Right now that's 38 products, and 30 of them are confirmed shipping. Pistols, rifles, optics, weapon lights, suppressors, armor and ammunition are all here, each with its MSRP and a dated status check.

What counts as "Made in USA" here

We flag a product as made in the USA only when the maker says so, or when a source we cite does, for example a maker press release, a spec table that lists "Made: USA" or a named factory location. We don't infer it from a company's headquarters address, and we don't flag a product just because the brand is American. Some American brands build or import guns overseas.

Under the Federal Trade Commission's Made in USA Labeling Rule, an unqualified "Made in USA" label means "all or virtually all" of the product is made in the United States. We report what makers claim. We don't audit their supply chains. If a maker qualifies the claim, for example "assembled in USA" or "built in Tennessee", we use their wording on the product page. If you see a flag that's wrong, tell us and we'll correct it.

American-made handguns

Carry and duty

The most affordable American-made handgun on the list is the Ruger LCP MAX with ReadyDot ($449). It's an 11-ounce, 10+1 .380 with a battery-free 15 MOA fiber-optic dot. Taurus says the Taurus TX9 ($499.99) is built in the USA, according to its launch release. It's a 9mm duty pistol on a serialized steel chassis with full-size, compact and subcompact grip frames. Ruger's RXM Copper and Blue PVD models ($579) take the same serialized-insert idea with a removable stainless fire control insert in a Magpul grip frame. Smith & Wesson's Bodyguard 2.0 with Viridian RFX1 ($599) is a 12-ounce .380 with a factory 3 MOA green dot. 1911s and 2011s

Kimber builds the 1911 DS Warrior ($1,099 to $1,350) in Troy, Alabama. It's a double-stack, optics-ready 1911 in 9mm, .38 Super, .45 ACP and 10mm that keeps the internal extractor and bushing barrel. The Kimber 2K11 Comp ($2,399–$2,599) machines a compensator port into the slide and barrel. At the top end, Staccato's HD C4X ($3,499) and HD P4X ($3,599) share a one-piece integrally compensated 4-inch barrel and run Glock-pattern magazines. American-made rifles

Ruger's Harrier (from $699) is built at Ruger's Hebron, Kentucky factory: a forged-7075 AR-15 with a free-float 15-inch M-LOK handguard. IWI US's ARAD 5 ($1,499.99) is a short-stroke-piston AR-pattern rifle with a quick-change CamLok barrel, and IWI's release says it's now built in Tennessee. Shadow Systems' first rifle, the U526 ($2,199), is made in the USA according to Shadow Systems. It has an intermediate gas system, a chrome-lined 4150 CMV barrel and a two-stage duty trigger. All three are in new AR-15s of 2026.

For bolt guns, Ruger's American Rifle Gen II Scout ($929) and Gen II Ranch Left-Handed ($769) both have 16.1-inch threaded barrels. Christensen Arms' Ridgeline Safari ($2,149.99) pairs a European walnut stock with a carbon-fiber-wrapped barrel in 7mm PRC through .375 H&H. Barrett's MRAD Covert is a compact, folding-stock MRAD in .308 Win that breaks down to fit the included backpack and works with MRAD barrel kits. American-made optics

• EOTECH EXPS3 HD ($999): a hoodless, all-aluminum holographic sight with a left-side rotary dial, auto-brightness and shake-awake.
• Vortex AMG 1-10x24 FFP ($3,999): a first focal plane LPVO on a 34 mm tube with dual-zero toolless turrets.
• Nightforce NX6: a new family of scopes from a 1-6x24 LPVO to a 6-36x56, with FieldSet turrets.
• Leupold MX-6HD 8-48x60 ($3,999.99): a first focal plane spotting scope with a reticle, built in Beaverton, Oregon. Its sibling, the BX-6 Range HD ($3,999.99), is a 10x42 rangefinding binocular rated to 6,000 yards on reflective targets.
• Trijicon REAP-IR-50 ($8,999, Announced): a thermal riflescope on a new in-house 1024x768 core.

American-made weapon lights

SureFire's XC3 Sub ($369) puts up to 1,000 lumens on micro-compact carry pistols like the P365 and Glock 48. The M640T Turbo Scout Light Pro ($379) is a 70,000-candela rifle light. Modlite's OKW V2 head ($209) pushes about 95,000 candela on existing Modlite bodies. Streamlight's ProTac Rail Mount 1L-X ($181) and 1L-X Pro ($212) are 850-lumen multi-fuel lights for short rails. American-made suppressors

With the federal NFA tax on suppressors at $0 since January 1, 2026, more buyers are shopping for cans. American-made new releases include Dead Air's Nomad Ti OTB ($1,049), a 10.5-ounce titanium over-the-barrel rifle can rated to .300 RUM, and its CT5P (from $899), a Haynes 282 patrol can. There's also SilencerCo's 7-ounce titanium S98 ($1,269) 9mm can, HUXWRX's 3D-printed Flow 9 M ($849) and Flow 9k PCC ($898), and SureFire's SOCOM6-Mini4 ($1,529) for 6mm ARC. American-made armor, ammunition and parts

RMA Defense makes the 1165 Gen 2 Level IV/RF3 plate in Centerville, Iowa, using alumina oxide ceramic to cut weight and price. HESCO's RF3-400 was among the first plates certified to the new NIJ 0101.07 RF3 level. Safe-Pro USA showed its RAPID Series ballistic shield at SHOT Show 2026. For ammunition, the list includes Hornady's 22 Creedmoor factory loads and Federal's Berger Elite Hunter 7mm PRC 195 gr ($84.99 per 20). Buying American: practical notes

• Check the exact model. A maker can build one model in the USA and import another. The flag on our product page applies only to the product named.
• Look for the factory. Where the maker names the plant (Hebron, KY; Troy, AL; Beaverton, OR; Centerville, IA), we say so.
• Status matters more than flags. 30 of the 38 products are confirmed shipping. Our recently shipped log shows when each one changed status.
• Know your state. Buy from a licensed dealer, and follow state rules on magazines, suppressors and armor.

How we chose

Every product here comes from our release database, which tracks new products from announcement to shipping. To make the list, a product had to be announced for 2026 (or in late 2025 for 2026 availability) and have a cited maker or trade-press source. We grouped products by job using maker specs, then weighed MSRP and verified shipping status. If two did the same job, we favored the one you can buy today.
