Zeiss adds an 85mm Conquest Apia, a 24-60x spotting scope in angled (85A) and straight (85S) bodies, to the compact Apia line, at a $1,949.99 MSRP.
Why it matters
A larger objective and 60-power top end give the lightweight Apia platform more low-light detail, and new MOA and MRAD reticle eyepieces make it more useful for spotting shots.
What's new
The Conquest Apia line grows from a single 65mm angled scope to four models, adding 85mm angled and straight versions plus MOA and MRAD reticle eyepieces.

Long Range Only reports Zeiss says the 85A reaches retailers in early November 2026 and the 85S and the MOA/MRAD reticle eyepieces in late November; The Firearm Blog (Oct. 22) says the 85A is available now. SportOptics lists the 85A (528075-9901-000) and 85S (528074-9901-000) at $1,949.99 as available to backorder on 2026-10-23, and the MOA eyepiece at $399.99.
Who it's for: Western hunters and long-range shooters who glass from a tripod and want 60 power and more low-light detail without a full-size, heavy 85mm spotter.
Is it worth it?
The 85 gives the compact Apia line a bigger objective and a 60-power top end at $1,949.99, but the reticle eyepieces that make it a shot-spotting tool don't arrive until late November. See other new glass in our new hunting gear of 2026 guide.
