Ruger's RXM, the Magpul-gripped 9mm with a removable serialized fire control insert, now comes with Copper PVD or Blue PVD slides in six models: 4-inch 15+1, 4-inch 17+1 and 4.5-inch 17+1.
Why it matters
It's the same Gen 3 Glock-pattern RXM that took the Glock-compatible market by storm, now with a factory color slide at $579, so you don't have to send a slide out for refinishing.
What's new
The standard RXM (model 19400) has a black FNC nitride slide. These six models swap in a Copper PVD or Blue PVD slide over the same black nitride barrel and black Magpul EHG grip, at $579, $40 over the $539 base model. Everything else is the RXM you know: the serialized stainless Fire Control Insert, tritium front sight and RMR/DPP/RMSc direct-mount optic cut.

Ruger lists these six models on its RXM models page and New Models page with a $579 suggested retail. We found no Ruger press release for them, so no announce date is shown. Stock check 2026-10-20: Steel Forest Gun Range showed model 19552 in stock (4 units, $468.99); Ferrari Firearms showed model 19551 in stock ($441.72); V1 Tactical showed model 19496 out of stock.
Who it's for: Shooters who want a Glock-pattern 9mm with better factory ergonomics and a factory color slide, for carry, home defense or a custom build.
Is it worth it?
