New RMSc Micro Red Dots for 2026: ONYXc vs PHANTOMc vs EPS-CORE vs EFLX CE
The Shield RMSc footprint is the cut on most slim carry pistols, including the SIG P365 family, the HK VP9CC and many micro 9mms. Four new or updated RMSc dots are on our 2026 tracker: Canik's open ONYXc and enclosed PHANTOMc, Holosun's enclosed EPS-CORE and EOTech's enclosed EFLX CE. They run from $259.99 to $479 at maker list price. Every spec and price below comes from the maker's own product page, checked October 30, 2026. If a maker doesn't publish a number, we say so.

Specs and list prices from Canik's ONYXc (CAOP2200) and PHANTOMc (CAOP2204) pages, Holosun's EPS-CORE-RD-3 page and 2026 product catalog, and EOTech's EFLX CE page, all checked October 30, 2026. Street prices are often lower than maker list prices. "Not published" means we didn't find the figure on the maker's page. It doesn't mean the figure is zero.
Why the RMSc footprint matters
A footprint is the screw and recoil-boss pattern on the bottom of the optic. If it matches your slide cut, the optic mounts directly with no adapter plate, so it sits lower and has fewer parts to come loose. The RMSc pattern is narrow. It was built for single-stack and slim double-stack carry guns, so RMSc dots are smaller and lighter than RMR-footprint dots like the Holosun 407C X3 and 507C X3.
All four dots here fit an RMSc cut. The EOTech EFLX CE is the flexible one: EOTech lists it for both the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and the Shield RMSc footprints. Check your pistol maker's optic-cut spec before you buy. Some slides use a plate system, like SIG's SIG-LOC on the P365-AXG Equinox.
Each dot in one paragraph
Canik ONYXc: the lowest-priced dot here and the only open emitter. Canik calls it an "open red dot sight." It has a 3 MOA dot and 32 MOA circle reticle system, a CR1620 battery rated up to 50,000 hours, 10 brightness levels with an auto mode and IP67 sealing. Its 0.79 x 0.61 in window is the smallest of the four.
Canik PHANTOMc: the enclosed version of Canik's compact dot, for $40 more at Canik's list price. Canik says its Total Enclosure Technology seals the optical path. It keeps the same 3/32 MOA reticle and CR1620 battery, adds solar, and has a slightly larger 0.8 x 0.69 in window. It's also longer than the ONYXc, at 1.74 in against 1.04 in.
Holosun EPS-CORE: the widest window here at 0.90 x 0.63 in, in an enclosed body Holosun lists at 1.4 oz. The RD3 version we track has a single 3 MOA dot. Holosun sells a separate MRS version with a dot and circle. Battery life is 50,000 hours on setting 6 from a CR1620 in a side tray, and Holosun rates it IPX8 for submersion.
EOTech EFLX CE: the most expensive dot here and the only one with a dual-footprint base and a built-in rear backup iron sight. EOTech lists a 3 MOA dot with a 42 MOA ring, 1 MOA clicks, top-mounted controls, a side-loading CR2032 and about 25,000 hours on the dot alone. EOTech says it's assembled in the USA.
Open or enclosed?
Three of these four are enclosed, so the emitter sits behind a sealed window and rain, lint or mud can't block it. The ONYXc is open, which keeps it short and cheap. For a deeper look at the trade-offs, see our enclosed vs open emitter red dot guide.
Which one should you buy?
- Lowest price, shortest optic: the Canik ONYXc, if you accept an open emitter.
- Enclosed on a budget: the Canik PHANTOMc or the Holosun EPS-CORE. They're about $30 apart at list. The EPS-CORE has the bigger window and a published weight. The PHANTOMc adds solar and a circle reticle.
- Want a backup sight built in, or a DeltaPoint Pro cut: the EOTech EFLX CE.
- Want a circle reticle with Holosun: look at the EPS-CORE MRS version. It isn't the RD3 model in our table, so check Holosun's page for its price.
