Every price change our checks have recorded on new guns, optics and gear, dated and sourced. 9 changes so far (5 to a maker MSRP: 4 up, 1 down), plus 50 first-time price records.
Newest first. MSRP is the maker's suggested price. Street price is one retailer listing on the check date, not a quote and not the lowest price anywhere. A street-price change can mean the retailer changed its price or that we started citing a different retailer. Download the full log (CSV).
Most MSRP changes in this log aren't price hikes on the shelf. They happen when a launch press release quoted one figure and the maker's own product page now lists another, as with the Holosun 407C X3, Savage Axis 2 Pro, Kimber 2K11 Comp. Our rule is to show the maker's current figure and note the launch price on the product page, so you can see both.
First price records
The first time we recorded a price for a product. These are starting points for future changes, not changes themselves.
Every number on this page is computed by our site build from the same tracker data that powers the product pages: products.csv (one row per tracked product, with its status, MSRP, announce date, check date and sources) and our dated update log. Nothing is estimated, rounded up or filled in by hand. Where the data cannot support a number, we say so instead of publishing one. Definitions of Announced, Listed and Shipping are on How We Track.
The log includes every price entry our checks wrote to the update log since October 16, 2026. Entries that only reformatted a number (for example $274.00 to $274.0) are dropped. Percent changes are computed from the two recorded prices. We never infer a price we didn't see, and sale prices are labeled in each product's notes, not mixed into MSRP.
