Glock V Series: Every Model, Its Specs and How It Compares to Gen 6
"V Series" is what shoppers call the Glock pistols whose model names end in "V," such as the G17 V and G19 V. Glock's U.S. website lists them as their own products, separate from the Gen 6 G17, G19 and G45. Every number below comes from glock.com. Glock's pages don't state a release date or a price, so we don't print one.
What is the Glock V Series?
The Glock V Series is the group of Glock pistols whose model names end in "V," such as the G17 V, G19 V, G19X V, G26 V, G45 V, G44 V and G23 V, plus the G20 V MOS and G21 V MOS. Glock's U.S. catalog on us.glock.com lists each one as its own product with its own technical data, separate from the Gen6 G17, G19 and G45. Glock's pages we read don't define "V" or state a release date (checked Nov. 3, 2026).

Glock's catalog also links separate MOS pages for the G23 V and G26 V, and its law-enforcement page links MOS pages for the G17 V and G19 V. GLOCK's Buyer's Guide 2026 also lists distributor-exclusive V variants: the G17C V, G19C V and G45C V (TALO) and the G19X V MOS TB (Davidson's). We haven't pulled specs for those.
Features as Glock's pages describe them: the G17 V, G19 V and G23 V pages list the GLOCK Marksman Barrel, an nDLC surface finish, front serrations and an ambidextrous slide stop lever. The G19X V page lists the Marksman Barrel, an nPVD slide coating, no finger grooves and ambidextrous slide stop levers. The G26 V page lists the Marksman Barrel, front serrations and an ambidextrous slide stop lever. Every page above says the pistol uses Glock's Safe Action system.
Glock V vs Gen 6: numbers side by side
The V columns are from glock.com's V model pages. The Gen 6 columns are Glock's U.S. technical data as already shown on our Gen 6 vs Gen 5 comparison and on the G17 Gen6, G19 Gen6 and G45 Gen6 pages. Weights are without a magazine.

Barrel, overall length, height and capacity match in every pair; width differs by 0.01 in in two. Weights differ, and the direction isn't the same across the three pairs. Glock's pages we read don't explain what else differs, so we don't guess. We make no claim about internals, parts compatibility or optic mounting on the V models: Not yet verified.
